Ben B&W Photo Cropped.jpg

BEN EAMES

DIRECTOR

Ben's architectural journey is a rich one, starting from a key role in a prominent Kent-based AJ 100 practice, where he spent a decade refining his skills and gaining his HNC in Construction through West Kent College, affiliated with Greenwich University.

Before founding Kent Planning Consultancy, Ben worked as a self-employed architectural designer, offering high-quality design solutions for private clients and developers. His expertise and passion for architecture and the planning process ultimately led to the creation of KPC to offer planning services and solutions.

As Planning Director, Ben takes the lead in taking projects from concept to planning submission. His focus is on agricultural and rural projects, particularly the adaptive reuse of farmsteads, such as barn conversions, providing practical, sustainable solutions for outdated rural buildings. This is where his expertise in blending architecture with rural development truly shines.

Outside of the office, Ben enjoys farm life, tending to sheep, chickens, and horses, and has a personal interest in vintage tractors. He is also an active member of the rural community, regularly attending local events. His work, both professionally and personally, is deeply rooted in a love for the countryside.
